Are you an early career researcher (ECR) interested in transitioning from academia to a role in industry? 

Are you worried about identifying your skills and strengths for such a move?

Moving from an academic role to taking up a position as a researcher in industry can be daunting and can require a different skills focus.

The aim of this course is to empower you to identify these skills, to showcase them, and to learn how you can build a successful career in industry. This will be achieved through a series of hands-on tasks and skills sessions in which we will help you to honestly reflect on your current capabilities, gain confidence in identifying and practising ‘industry-relevant’ skills, and learn how to apply this to your future career development aspirations.
