In this webinar we heard from the 2022 AstraZeneca Award winner, Dr Sjors Scheres at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, UK.
Dr Sjors Scheres is a Research Leader at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology and joint Head of the Structural Studies division. His main interests lie in the development of new methods for high-resolution cryo-EM structure determination, and their application to amyloid filaments. During his Award lecture, Dr Scheres discussed his latest developments in cryo-EM and their application to amyloids from human brain.
This webinar was chaired by Dr Kakoli Bose, Principal Investigator, Advanced Centre for Treatment Research & Education in Cancer, and Associate Editor of Bioscience Reports.
