Biochemistry Focus Webinar Series
60 minutes
In this webinar, we heard from three researchers whose work aims to develop our understanding of the potential of industrial biotechnology and ultimately create the technologies required to implement a more sustainable bioeconomy.
The application of biotechnology to industrial processes is transforming the way we manufacture products. By maximising and optimising existing biochemical pathways, we are able to integrate the improvement of products with pollution prevention and resource conservation.
Invited speakers:
- Dr Leonardo Rios Solis, SynthSys, Edinburgh
- Dr Katalin Kovacs, SBRC, Nottingham
- Dr Mark Dunstan, SYNBIOCHEM, Manchester
This webinar was chaired by Professor Anne Osbourn, OpenPlant, and John Innes Centre.
