This discussion brought together members of the Society's EDI Advisory Panel and external guests to answer questions from the community on the creation of diverse teams, including challenges, ideas for change and examples of good practice.  

Invited speakers were:

• Marie Bowers, Physiology Technician, University of Glasgow
• Dr Jerry Chipuk, Associate Professor of Oncological Sciences and Dermatology, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai

The discussion was chaired by Dr Amanda Marie James, Chair of the Society's EDI Advisory Panel and Chief Diversity Officer & Associate Dean, Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement at Emory University.
