Amphiphilic polymers for membrane protein solubilisation and characterisation
In 2009, a new method was developed that allowed membrane proteins to be extracted from cells without the use of detergents. This meant that, for the first time, samples could be produced where the membrane protein was still in its lipid environment, making it much easier and more accessible to study them.
At this webinar, two leaders in the field of Membrane Proteins and SMA technology will present on this breakthrough, the research methods that have developed subsequently, and on the role of lipids in membrane protein solubilization by SMA.
